Imagine closing your eyes and becoming unaware of where your hands are in space. Daunting, isn’t it? This is what blind children experience everyday.
Because of their disability, these children struggle with the awareness of their body and of their surroundings, ending with deficits of their spatial and social skills.
To date, there is an absence of games for blind or severely visually impaired children, who often find themselves alone without any stimulus for social interaction.
Furthermore, there is a lack of tools that offer objective measures to monitor children's progress resulting from therapeutic interventions.
